All it takes......

All it takes is everything you've got emotionally, spiritually, and physically.  O.K., it's not really that bad.  In fact, I enjoy the process.  I think this is my eighth week of training with the Covenant Health Biggest Winner Team.  People ask how we do it.  I think some of them are disappointed when I say it's a lot about how you eat and exercising.  There's nothing extreme to it.  It's just doing what you already know is good for you.  It's about committing to the process.  It's about learning to live again.  It's about remembering things such as "You can't outrun a bad diet."  It's about having support from others and it's about paying it forward. 

I'm doing this to get healthy and because I love running.  I'm also doing it to possibly inspire others to do it.  You can never imagine how great it feels to drop 60 pounds, 37 since I've joined the Biggest Winner Team.  You can never imagine how great it feels to set a PR in the 10k and know that you still had some energy left in your tank.  You can never imagine knowing how incredible it is to share the journey with others and to encourage others to join you.

Believe it or not, I've lost 12 inches from around my waist.  Look how much more of the door you can see.  It won't be long now until you hear my scream, "GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!!!"
 
 
My goal for next week is to lose about 4 pounds.  I want to make it to my goal before I have a check-up with my endocrinologist.  I am so hoping he'll take me off my meds.
